Winchester (2018)
Quick Review:
It skilfully benefits from Mirren's charismatically eerie performance,
the tasteful tone, and its vastly impressive setting that is jusy as
imposing as it's sinister, but this supernatural horror film inspired by
the famous mansion also suffers from a sluggish pacing and muddled
ploting with no significant purpose, with the end result being a terribly
good-looking, if often dull and rather pointless creeper that offers
nothing more than some jump scares, very few of which work deftly.
