Quick Review: Financial topics are not always the most interesting ones for mass audiences, but in this case the subject matter is not that heavy or overpowering, being mixed finely with TV journalism and turned into a hostage thriller that is taut enough to hold your attention. Even though Foster's barely consistent direction has its ups and downs, the smartly-written script and all around spot-on performances from the stellar cast, make "Money Monster" worth your time big time in the end.
